smartphone Device-First Architecture

Safe Anot? is built on a device-first architecture. All scans, checks, and analyses run directly on your device. Your data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly choose to share it.

visibility_off No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or process any personal data. Specifically, we do not collect:

  • Your name, email, or phone number
  • Your location or IP address
  • Your browsing history or app usage patterns
  • Your contacts or messages
  • Device identifiers for tracking purposes

block No Tracking or Advertising

Safe Anot? contains no tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, or advertising networks. We do not profile users, serve ads, or sell data to third parties. We never will.

report Scam Reports Are Anonymized

When a URL is checked against our scam database, only the URL itself is sent to our servers for lookup. No user-identifying information is attached to these requests.

If you voluntarily submit a scam report, all submissions are fully anonymized. We strip any metadata that could identify the reporter before storing the report.

link Link Checking

When you check a URL using our web checker or the app, the URL is sent to our API to be compared against our database of known scam domains. We do not log which users check which URLs.

cloud Third-Party Services

Safe Anot? uses the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare Pages — hosts our website. Subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare Workers — processes API requests for link checking. No user data is stored.
  • Google Fonts — serves the Quicksand typeface. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
  • Google Play — distributes the Android app. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

security Phone Shield Scans

The Phone Shield feature scans your device locally to identify apps with permissions that could be exploited by scammers (such as the ability to install unknown APKs). All scan results stay on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

update Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
